Explanation
The Office of CelebrateOne has been awarded a grant from the Ohio Department of Health. This ordinance is to accept and appropriate $136,686.75 in additional grant monies for the Ohio Equity Institute 2.0 program for the period October 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021. CelebrateOne will continue to provide Connectors to identify, screen and refer at risk pregnant women to clinical care and social services in high risk zip codes in which the Connector lives or has lived. The locations for outreach will include homeless shelters, homeless camps, teen drop in centers, teen dropout recovery programs, residential apartment complexes, neighborhood extended stay hotels and motels, hospital emergency rooms, neighborhood urgent care centers, discount retail and cell phone stores, Pregnancy decision centers and the Franklin County jail.
