Explanation
BACKGROUND: This legislation authorizes the Finance and Management Director to associate all General Budget reservations resulting from this ordinance with the following Universal Term Contract Purchase Agreements listed below for Lawn Mowing Services for the Department of Public Utilities, Division of Water.

The companies are not debarred according to the Excluded Party Listing System of the Federal Government or prohibited from being awarded a contract according to the Auditor of State Unresolved Findings for Recovery Certified Search.
FISCAL IMPACT: $76,000.00 is budgeted and needed for this purchase.
$129,968.35 was spent in 2021.
$102763.80 was spent in 2020.
EMERGENCY DESIGNATION: Emergency designation is requested to avoid the delay of purchasing Lawn Mowing services. This will allow the Division of Water to continue to have continued non-interrupted service.

To authorize the Finance and Management Director to associate all General Budget Reservations resulting from this ordinance with the appropriate Universal Term Contract Purchase Agreements for Lawn Mowing Services for the Division of Water; to authorize the expenditure of $76,000.00 from the Water Operating Fund; and to declare an emergency. WHEREAS, the Purchasing Office has established Universal Term Contract Purchase Agreements for Lawn Mowing Services; and
WHEREAS, this ordinance authorizes an expenditure of $76,000.00 or so much there of as may be needed for the purchase of Lawn Mowing Services; and
WHEREAS, an emergency exists in the usual daily operation of the Department of Public Utilities in that it is immediately necessary to authorize the Director of Finance and Management to associate all General Budget Reservations resulting from this ordinance with the appropriate current and pending Universal Term Contract Purchase Agreements for the purchase of Lawn Mowing withou...
