To express our gratitude and deep appreciation to Chris Presutti for his thirty-one years of exceptional service to the people of Columbus Ohio upon his retirement from the Department of Building and Zoning Services.

WHEREAS, in 1991, Chris Presutti began his service to the City of Columbus; and,
WHEREAS, on June 30, 2022, Chris concludes his 31 year career with the Department of Building and Zoning Services, most recently serving as the Chief Zoning Official; and
WHEREAS, during that time, Chris has defined what it means to be an exemplary Chief Zoning Official in his work of presiding over zoning decisions for existing and new buildings to ensure safety to all residents, and providing thorough reviews of development proposals and projects, and his dedication to the modernization and revision of the Columbus Zoning Code; and
WHEREAS, Chris has gone above and beyond in his service to the construction industry, other departments in the City, neighborhood and community groups, while representing the Department and the City of Columbus; and
WHEREAS, Chris Presutti will retire from the Department of Building and Zoning Services with many years of dedicated and exceptional service to the Department and to the citizens of Columbus; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS:
That this Council does hereby recognize the long career and outstanding service of Chris Presutti to the City of Columbus.
