To recognize and celebrate the Grand Opening of Bake Me Happy in Schumacher Place.

WHEREAS, Bake Me Happy is a gluten free, wholesale and retail bakery and coffee shop, that was established on the south side of Columbus in 2014; and

WHEREAS, their mission is to raise the bar in the gluten free allergen world by increasing gluten free options for everyone; and

WHEREAS, Bake Me Happy adds to the diversity of small business in Ohio, through their community engagements; and

WHEREAS, October is a month to celebrate LGBTQ+ history, and Bake Me Happy is part of the history of LGBTQ+ owned small business; and

WHEREAS, Bake Me Happy held its Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening October 29th, 2022; now, therefore

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS:

That this Council does hereby recognize Letha Pugh and Wendy Miller Pugh for the grand opening of Bake Me Happy in the Schumacher Place neighborhood.
