The City of Columbus will hold a public hearing regarding the City’s Bike Plus Plan. The Bike Plus planning initiative is a citywide effort to modernize the City’s bikeways plan, which was adopted in 2008. Through the 2024 Bike Plus plan, the Department of Public Service is actively engaged in making Columbus a city where people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds are able to bike and use other forms of micromobility safely and comfortably for any transportation or recreation need.
The draft plan will be available for public review through December 9, 2024. Councilmember Lourdes Barroso de Padilla, in conjunction with the Department of Public Service, will hold a public hearing at 5:00 pm on December 3, 2024. The hearing will be held in Council Chambers at City Hall at 90 W. Broad Street. Any individual, group, or agency wishing to provide input on the draft Bike Plus Plan may submit comments to bikeways@columbus.gov.
