Councilmember Nancy Day-Achauer, Chair of the Neighborhoods, Recreation, and Parks Committee, along with Vice Chair Councilmember Christopher Wyche, will be hosting a hearing to review the Mayor’s 2025 Operating Budget. This hearing will cover departmental budgets for Columbus Recreation and Parks and the Department of Neighborhoods, as well as various budgetary items related to the city’s Sustainability efforts. Departments will present on their proposed budgets and answer questions from councilmembers.
This event will broadcast live on CTV, YouTube, and Facebook Live.
Any resident seeking to submit written testimony should do so to the office of Councilmember Day-Achauer by emailing Jacob Dilley at JADilley@columbus.gov by 12:00pm on the day of the hearing - please include “Written Testimony - 12/11 Budget Hearing” in the subject line of your email.
Any resident wishing to speak during the event, that is not an invited guest of Council, should email Jacob Dilley at JADilley@columbus.gov by 12:00pm on the day of the hearing. Each speaker will be limited to remarks lasting no longer than three minutes.
