During its regular meeting held on Monday, January 27, 2025 a motion was passed to approve the following:
Request of the Civil Service Commission staff to create the specification for the classification Utility Maintenance Trainee, assign a probationary period of 365 days, designate the examination type as noncompetitive, and amend Rule XI accordingly.
Request of the Civil Service Commission staff to abolish the specification for the classification Power Line/Cable Worker Trainee and amend Rule XI accordingly (Job Code 3565).
Request of the Civil Service Commission staff to create the specification for the classification Power Distribution Line Supervisor II, assign a probationary period of 365 days, designate the examination type as noncompetitive, and amend Rule XI accordingly.
Request of the Civil Service Commission staff to revise the specification for the classification Wastewater Treatment Residuals Manager, retitle it to read Water Reclamation Residuals Manager, and amend Rule XI accordingly (Job Code 1157).
Request of the Civil Service Commission staff to revise the specification for the classification Wastewater Pretreatment Technician, retitle it to read Pretreatment Technician, and amend Rule XI accordingly (Job Code 1860).
