During its regular meeting held on Monday, February 24, 2025 a motion was passed to approve the following:
Request of the Civil Service Commission staff to abolish the specification for the classification Fingerprint Technician Trainee and amend Rule XI accordingly (Job Code 3012).
Request of the Civil Service Commission staff to revise the specification for the classification Utility Line Locator and retitle it to read Utility Line Locator/Inspector, and amend Rule XI accordingly (Job Code 4055).
Request of the Civil Service Commission staff to abolish the specification for the classification Water Service Technician I and amend Rule XI accordingly (Job Code 3260).
Request of the Civil Service Commission staff to revise the specification for the classification Water Service Technician II, retitle it to read Water Service Technician, and amend Rule XI accordingly (Job Code 3276).
Request of the Civil Service Commission staff to create the specification for the classification Backflow Specialist, assign a probationary period of 365 days, designate the examination type as noncompetitive, and amend Rule XI accordingly.
Request of the Civil Service Commission staff to revise the specification for the classification Traffic Line Worker, retitle it to read Traffic Signal Technician, change the probationary period to 365 days, change the examination type to noncompetitive, and amend Rule XI accordingly (Job Code 4024).
Request of the Civil Service Commission staff to revise the specification for the classification Traffic Line Supervisor I, retitle it to read Traffic Signal Supervisor I, change the examination type to noncompetitive, and amend Rule XI accordingly (Job Code 4026).
