Council Member Otto Beatty III will be hosting a second public hearing to discuss a proposed expansion of the zoning code to allow for Accessory Dwelling Units in residential districts. This proposed code change falls under Council’s Housing For All & Columbus Forward initiative. The Building and Zoning Services Department will present the proposed code changes at the hearing. Resident and stakeholder feedback is encouraged.

All interested residents are invited to offer written and/or public testimony by sending an email to Leah Boyd at LSBoyd@columbus.gov by 12:00pm on the day of the hearing - please include “September 10th Hearing Testimony” in the subject line of your email. Comments will be limited to three (3) minutes.
