Council President Shannon Hardin, Chair of the Housing, Homelessness, and Building Committee, will hold a public hearing to discuss proposed Yes In God's Backyard policy. This proposed policy is regarding faith and nonprofit housing development and methods to remove regulatory or zoning barriers.

Any resident seeking to submit written testimony should do so to the office of Council President Hardin by emailing Jessica Clinger at jnclinger@columbus.gov by 5:00pm on October 1, 2025 - please include “Written Testimony - 10/2 YIGBY Hearing” in the subject line of your email.
Any resident wishing to speak during the hearing should email Jessica Clinger at jnclinger@columbus.gov by 5:00pm on October 1, 2025. Each speaker will be limited to remarks lasting no longer than three minutes.
