Council Member Nick Bankston, Chair of the Economic Development & Small and Minority Business Committee will hold a public hearing to discuss edits to the proposed changes to Title 39 of the city’s code more commonly referred to as the Diversity and Inclusion Code.

Any resident seeking to submit written testimony should forward it to the office of Council Member Bankston. Written testimony must be received by 12pm the day of the hearing (Monday, 11.10.2025) and emailed to Jonathan Brown at jbbrown@columbus.gov. All persons wishing to speak during the hearing in person must email jbbrown@columbus.gov by 12pm the day of the hearing (Monday) requesting that they be added to the list of speakers. Each speaker will be limited to remarks lasting no longer than three minutes. The meeting will be live-streamed on the City’s YouTube channel and Council’s Facebook.
