On Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at 4:30 p.m. Councilmember Emmanuel V. Remy, Chair of the Public Safety and Criminal Justice Committee, will host a public hearing to discuss and review potential updates to the City’s ordinances and procedures relating to short term rentals. The hearing will have presentations from the License Section of the Department of Building and Zoning Services and the Columbus Division of Police, and will be an opportunity to provide public testimony on the topic of short-term rentals.
The meeting will be broadcast live on the City’s Youtube Channel, and the City’s Facebook page. Public or written testimony is available by contacting Pedro Mejia at pdmejia@columbus.gov by 12pm on the day of the hearing. Each speaker will be limited to remarks lasting no longer than three minutes.
