On December 22, 2025 at 10:00 a.m., Council Member Bankston chaired a hearing to allow for public comments and recommendations on the proposed Madison Township Joint Economic Development District Contract Amendment, to be considered for approval by the City Council of the City of Columbus, Ohio at a future, regularly scheduled or special meeting pursuant to Ohio Revised Code Section 715.72.
The public hearing was held at 111 Front Street, Second Floor, Columbus, OH 43215.
Pursuant to Ohio Revised Code Section 715.72(I) the City published notice of this public hearing in the Columbus Dispatch on November 21, 2025. The notice was also published in the December 20th City Bulletin. Notification was published not later than (30) days prior to this public hearing and included the time and place of the public hearing. During the thirty (30) day period prior to the public hearing and until the date that an ordinance is adopted to approve the Amendment, a copy of the Amendment was and will be on file within the office of the Clerk of Council.
The following documents are on file with the Columbus City Council Clerk’s Office for public inspection: (1) a copy of the Amendment; and (2) a description of the areas to be added to the district, including a map in sufficient detail to denote the specific boundaries of the areas.
These documents may be reviewed in the offices of the City Council of Columbus, 90 West Broad St., Columbus, OH 43215.
After brief public comments, the public hearing was adjourned at 10:17am on December 22nd, 2025.
