Council President Shannon Hardin and Council Member Tiara Ross, Chair of the Housing, Homelessness, and Building Committee, will hold a public hearing to discuss the Mayor’s proposed 2026 Operating Budget. The proposed budget, which includes the individual budgets of all city departments, city services and city funds, totals $1.26 billion.
This hearing will include presentations from the city’s Department of Development and Department of Building and Zoning Services. The full proposed budget can be viewed online at:

Any resident wishing to speak during the hearing should email Jessica Clinger at jnclinger@columbus.gov by 12:00pm on the day of the hearing. Each speaker will be limited to remarks lasting no longer than three minutes.
