Council President Shannon Hardin and Councilmember Tiara N. Ross, Chair of the Housing, Homelessness, and Building Committee, will hold a public hearing to discuss the Affordable Housing Bond Package.
Columbus voters approved a historic $500 million investment in affordable housing in November. This once-in-a-generation opportunity will help shape what Columbus becomes as our city continues to grow. Columbus City Council is inviting residents and stakeholders to share their ideas on how these bond dollars should be spent.

Any resident seeking to submit written testimony should do so to the office of Council President Hardin by emailing Jessica Clinger at jnclinger@columbus.gov by 5:00pm on February 11, 2026 - please include “Written Testimony - 2/12 Affordable Housing Bond Hearing” in the subject line of your email.
Any resident wishing to speak during the hearing should email Jessica Clinger at jnclinger@columbus.gov by 5:00pm on February 11, 2026. Each speaker will be limited to remarks lasting no longer than three minutes.
