The 2026 Candidate Packet to become a Livingston Avenue Area Commissioner (LAVA-C) is now available at https://www.cbusareacommissions.org/livingston. Candidate Packets (including petition forms) can also be obtained via e-mail by contacting a current Commissioner.
You are required to deliver the completed petition documents (including at least 3 valid Letters of Recommendation) via email to schicas.civic@gmail.com or via USPS to 858 Studer Ave, Columbus, OH 43206. The deadline for receipt of the completed petition documents is midnight on Thursday, October 1, 2026.
Candidates are encouraged to attend the monthly meeting of the Livingston Avenue Area Commission on October 20, 2026, and give a short statement of their candidacy. This voluntary appearance is not an election requirement.
