The Columbus LGBTQ+ Affairs Commission's Health and Social Services Committee met on Tuesday, June 30th from 3:00 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. in Columbus City Hall, Room 225.
Members of the Committee discussed the desire to learn more about the number of LGBTQ+ clients served by Safe Point.
The Committee Chair will make contact with Dr. Joanne Patterson. to learn more about the Community Health Needs Assessment being conducted by OSU. She will also contact the James Cancer Clinic.
Finally, Jamie committed to contacting City staff to learn more about the City's work on health and social services for the LGBTQ+ community.
No public comment was submitted or offered. The Committee's next meeting is not yet scheduled.
