The Columbus LGBTQ+ Affairs Commission met for its monthly general meeting at 6:00 p.m. in Columbus City Hall, 90 W. Broad St. Room 225, as well as online via Webex.
Commissioners present: Roberts-Crews, Thomas, Keilholz, Lenzo, Saito, Leis, Crenshaw, Boyd-Nelson, Calhoun, Cogar
Commissioners absent: Williamson, Applegate, Hollins
Staff: Marshall Troxell, Samuel Duling, Robert Tobias
The meeting began at approximately 6:00 p.m. The Commission primarily discussed their review of the previous month's listening session. Each committee also offered a brief report of its activities. The Commission agreed to host two more listening sessions in the community this calendar year. Finally, the protocol for releasing public statements was clarified.
Public comment was made to clarify that a report on the first listening session would be made available on the Commission's website. Too, it was clarified that the Commission will host its general monthly meetings in City Hall, Room 225 for the foreseeable future.
