On Monday, August 10th at 4:00 p.m, Councilmember Emmanuel V. Remy, Chair of the Public Safety and Criminal Justice Committee, will host a public hearing to discuss and review the results of the audit on Flock searches performed by the Columbus Division of Police. The hearing will also cover Flock camera technology, policies, and contracts. Speakers will include representatives from Department of Public Safety, the Division of Police, Flock, and ACLU Ohio.
The meeting will be broadcast live on the City’s Youtube Channel, and the City’s Facebook page. Public or written testimony is available by contacting Pedro Mejia at pdmejia@columbus.gov by 12pm on Monday, August 10th with the subject line "Flock Hearing". Each speaker will be limited to remarks lasting no longer than three minutes.
