Contractor's Compliance number CC006163.

Columbus Public Health (CPH) is participating in the STD Surveillance Network (SSuN) program to better understand behavioral, demographic, and clinical information on gonorrhea cases. This ordinance authorizes the Board of Health to modify an existing contract with The Ohio State University for the period through September 29, 2023, in an amount not to exceed $45,000.00, for a new contract amount of $110,000.00.

Emergency action is required to ensure the continued operation of the STD Surveillance Network (SSuN) grant program and to allow OSU to provide additional analysis of SSUN variables which analysis is a requirement from grantor, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

FISCAL IMPACT:  This contract is entirely funded by a grant award from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.  This grant does not generate revenue nor require a city match.
