Explanation
Background: From time to time the City of Columbus is asked to formally accept various deeds for the purposes of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto. These deeds have already been granted to the City of Columbus and recorded with the proper county recorder's office. The following legislation provides for the City to formally accept such deeds as listed in the body of this legislation.

Title
To formally accept certain deeds of easment and other interests in and to real property from various grantees to be used for the purposes of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto.
Body
WHEREAS, from time to time the City is asked to accept deeds various grantees for certain real property to be used for the purpose of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto; and;
WHEREAS, by virtue of a DEED of EASEMENT recorded in the Franklin County, Ohio Recorder's Office on 11/03/06, as instrument 200611030221581, The Ravines at Flint Park, LLC, has deeded property to the City of Columbus, to be used for the purpose of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto; and
WHEREAS, by virtue of a DEED of EASEMENT recorded in the Franklin County, Ohio Recorder's Office on 11/17/06 as instrument 200611170230969, M/I Homes of Central Ohio, LLC, has deeded property to the City of Columbus, to be used for the purpose of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto; and
WHEREAS, by virtue of a DEED of EASEMENT recorded in the Franklin County, Ohio Recorder's Office on 11/03/06 as instrument 200611030221586, Scioto Retirement Community, LLC, has deeded property to the City of Columbus, to be used for the purpose of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto; and
WHEREAS, by virtue of a DEED of EASEMENT recorded in the Franklin County, Ohio Recorder's Office on 09/22/06 as instrument 200609220189704, M/I Homes of Central Ohio, LLC, has deeded property to the City of Columbus, to be used for the purpose of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto; and
WHEREAS, by virtue of a DEED of EASEMENT recorded in the Franklin County, Ohio Recorder's Office on 09/22/06 as instrument 200609220189705, Columbus Metropolitan Housing Authority, has deeded property to the City of Columbus, to be used for the purpose of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto; and
WHEREAS, by virtue of a DEED of EASEMENT recorded in the Franklin County, Ohio Recorder's Office on 08/24/06 as instrument 200608240169003, Valerio and Linda C. Dalicandro, has deeded property to the City of Columbus, to be used for the purpose of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto; and
WHEREAS, by virtue of a DEED of EASEMENT recorded in the Franklin County, Ohio Recorder's Office on 09/22/06 as instrument 200609220189722, Empire Ventures/6200 E. Broad LLC, has deeded property to the City of Columbus, to be used for the purpose of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto; and
WHEREAS, by virtue of a DEED of EASEMENT recorded in the Franklin County, Ohio Recorder's Office on 09/29/06 as instrument 200609290195543, National City Bank, has deeded property to the City of Columbus, to be used for the purpose of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto; and
WHEREAS, by virtue of a DEED of EASEMENT recorded in the Franklin County, Ohio Recorder's Office on 09/29/06 as instrument 200609290195526, Columbus-McNaughten, LLC, has deeded property to the City of Columbus, to be used for the purpose of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto; and
WHEREAS, by virtue of a DEED of EASEMENT recorded in the Franklin County, Ohio Recorder's Office on 01/03/06 as instrument 200601030000997, Wulamat Tauwatawique Limited Partnership, has deeded property to the City of Columbus, to be used for the purpose of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto; and
WHEREAS, by virtue of a DEED of EASEMENT recorded in the Franklin County, Ohio Recorder's Office on 07/20/06 as instrument 200607200142531, NWD 300 Spring LLC f/k/a NWD 237 Neil, LLC, has deeded property to the City of Columbus, to be used for the purpose of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto; and
WHEREAS the City desires to accept these deeds; now, therefore
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS:
Section 1. That the City of Columbus hereby accepts the property more fully described in the DEED of EASEMENT from The Ravines at Flint Park, LLC, for real property to be used for purposes of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto:
Section 2. That the City of Columbus hereby accepts the property more fully described in the DEED of EASEMENT from M/I Homes of Central Ohio, LLC, for real property to be used for purposes of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto:
Section 3. That the City of Columbus hereby accepts the property more fully described in the DEED of EASEMENT from Scioto Retirement Community, LLC, for real property to be used for purposes of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto:
Section 4. That the City of Columbus hereby accepts the property more fully described in the DEED of EASEMENT from M/I Homes of Central Ohio, LLC, for real property to be used for purposes of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto:
Section 5. That the City of Columbus hereby accepts the property more fully described in the DEED of EASEMENT from Columbus Metropolitan Housing Authority, for real property to be used for purposes of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto:
Section 6. That the City of Columbus hereby accepts the property more fully described in the DEED of EASEMENT from Valerio and Linda C. Dalicandro, for real property to be used for purposes of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto:
Section 7. That the City of Columbus hereby accepts the property more fully described in the DEED of EASEMENT from Empire Ventures/6200 E. Broad LLC, for real property to be used for purposes of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto:
Section 8. That the City of Columbus hereby accepts the property more fully described in the DEED of EASEMENT from National City Bank, for real property to be used for purposes of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto:
Section 9. That the City of Columbus hereby accepts the property more fully described in the DEED of EASEMENT from Columbus-McNaughten, LLC, for real property to be used for purposes of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto:
Section 10. That the City of Columbus hereby accepts the property more fully described in the DEED of EASEMENT from Wulamat Tauwatawique Limited Partnership, for real property to be used for purposes of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto:
Section 11. That the City of Columbus hereby accepts the property more fully described in the DEED of EASEMENT from NWD 300 Spring LLC f/k/a NWD 237 Neil, LLC for real property to be used for purposes of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto:
Section 12. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after the earliest period allowed by law.
