Explanation
THE HAMPTONS AT NEW ALBANY PARK, LTD., an Ohio limited liability company, by MICHAEL J. DEASCENTIS II, Manager, has submitted the plat titled WEST CAMPUS ROAD DEDICATION AND EASEMENTS to the City Engineer's Office for review and approval. This plat has been reviewed and approved by the City Engineer. The following legislation allows the City to accept said plat for property located off of New Albany Road West and north of Central College Road.

To accept the plat titled WEST CAMPUS ROAD DEDICATION AND EASEMENTS, from THE HAMPTONS AT NEW ALBANY PARK, LTD., an Ohio limited liability company, by MICHAEL J. DEASCENTIS II, Manager and to declare an emergency.
Body
WHEREAS, the plat titled WEST CAMPUS ROAD DEDICATION AND EASEMENTS (hereinafter "plat"), has been submitted to the City Engineer's Office for approval and acceptance; and
WHEREAS, THE HAMPTONS AT NEW ALBANY PARK, LTD., an Ohio limited liability company, by MICHAEL J. DEASCENTIS II, Manager, owner of the platted land, desires to dedicate to the public use all or such parts of the Road shown on said plat and not heretofore so dedicated; and
WHEREAS, after examination, it has been found to be in the best interest of the City to accept said plat; and now, therefore
WHEREAS, an emergency exists in the usual daily operation of the Department of Development in that it is immediately necessary to pass this ordinance as an emergency measure because of the need to record the plat at about the same time the construction ends for the preservation of the public health, peace, property, safety, and welfare; now therefore
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS:
Section 1. That the plat titled WEST CAMPUS ROAD DEDICATION AND EASEMENTS on file in the office of the City Engineer, Transportation Division, be and the same is hereby accepted.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after the earliest period allowed by law. That for the reasons stated in the preamble hereto, which is hereby made a part hereof, this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure and shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor, or ten days after passage if the Mayor neither approves nor vetoes the same.
