Title
To honor and celebrate Apostle Marie M. Dove on her 45th birthday.
Body
WHEREAS, Apostle Marie M. Dove was the first child and only daughter born to Dorothy Brown in Buffalo, New York April 19, 1963; and
WHEREAS, she is the proud mother of four children, LeKeisha, Nathaniel, Bruce II, and James III, and the proud grandmother of Aliehyea Marie and Amaria Alexandria, Nana's babies; and
WHEREAS, Apostle Marie M. Dove has been in ministry for 26 years. She is the founder chief prelate of Marie M. Dove Ministries International, Incorporated; and
WHEREAS, Apostle Dove is the Senior Pastor of Shekinah Glory Prophetic Revival Center, Columbus, Ohio, and has pastored this church for 10 years; and
she presides over Shekinah Glory Ministries Ontario, Canada as well as other churches and ministries in the United States; and
WHEREAS, Apostle Marie M. Dove is a renown author of 3 books: Royal Roses, A Cut Above The Rest, There Is Still Dew on The Roses and He Keeps Sending Me Roses and entrepreneur with her own business Dove's Parties & Eloquent Events; and
WHEREAS, Apostle Marie M. Dove is a kind, benevolent, and gracious woman of God who lives what she ministers in the Word of God. She is a humanitarian, and participates in community involvement by working with various shelters and indigent women; and
WHEREAS, Apostle Dove is in the business of repairing lives. She has been useful in ministering to many leaders including Bishops, Pastors, and those in ministry in the body of Christ. She has ministered in many churches of various denominations throughout the United States; and
WHEREAS, Apostle Dove's mandate is seeing God change lives by the power and anointing of Jesus Christ. Apostle Dove has founded Royal Roses a non-profit organization in which she birthed to minister to the needs of battered and homeless women; and
WHEREAS, Apostle Dove has many visions including the House of Roses, which will assist abused women and their children with spiritual guidance, emotional healing, and physical support; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS:
That this Council does honor and celebrates Apostle Marie M. Dove as she celebrates her 45th birthday on Saturday April 19, 2008.
