To Recognize and Honor the Consecration of Bishop Brian Williams and His Faithful Service to the City of Columbus

 

Body

 

WHEREAS, Bishop Brian Williams is the founding pastor of Hope City Church, a thriving multi-campus ministry committed to community transformation, discipleship, and urban missions, headquartered in the city of Columbus, Ohio; and

 

WHEREAS, Bishop Brian Williams has faithfully served the Columbus community for 20 years through the launch of several key ministries, including Hope City Global, The Columbus House of Prayer and the first ever Youth With A Mission global missions base in the Midwest, each aimed at raising up leaders, to positively impact the community of Columbus, Ohio and beyond: and

 

WHEREAS, under his leadership, Hope City has grown into a diverse, multi-generational church with a branch and orphanage in India, actively partnering with schools, nonprofits, and civic organizations to serve the city and beyond through prayer initiatives, food drives, housing support, and urban outreach; and

 

WHEREAS, Bishop Williams has demonstrated a deep commitment to equipping the next generation with a biblical and judicial foundation by leading hundreds of students through ministerial training, schools of prayer, discipleship training schools, and faith-based civic engagement, impacting thousands around the world; and

 

WHEREAS, his consecration as a Bishop, after 6 years of serving as an Apostle, represents a formal recognition of his courageous leadership, spiritual integrity, and covenant commitment to shepherding pastors, strengthening churches, and uniting ministries through the newly launched Antioch Alliance; and , the Columbus City Council commends Bishop Brian Williams for his vision, sacrifice, and dedication to the spiritual and civic wellbeing of the city of Columbus and the global ecclesia;

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that this Council does hereby honor and recognize the consecration of Bishop Brian Williams and expresses its heartfelt appreciation for his continuing leadership and faithful service to the people of Columbus.
