To accept the plat titled GREAT OAK SECTION 1 from MARONDA HOMES, INC. OF OHIO, by Mark A. Demarest, Vice President, and to repeal Ordinance 1588-2004, passed September 20, 2004.

WHEREAS, Ordinance 1588-2004, passed September 20, 2004, authorized the acceptance of a plat titled GREAT OAK SECTION 1 from DOMINION HOMES, INC; and
WHEREAS, subsequently this property was transferred to MARONDA HOMES, INC. OF OHIO; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Service, Transportation Division is requesting that Ordinance 1588-2004, passed September 20, 2004, be repealed to facilitate the acceptance of the replacement plat also titled GREAT OAK SECTION 1; and
WHEREAS, MARONDA HOMES, INC. OF OHIO, by Mark A. Demarest, Vice President, owner of the platted land, desires to dedicate to the public use all or such parts of the Avenue and Drives shown on said plat and not heretofore so dedicated now, therefore
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS:
Section 1. That the plat titled GREAT OAK SECTION 1 from MARONDA HOMES, INC. OF OHIO, by Mark A. Demarest, Vice President on file in the office of the City Engineer, Transportation Division, be and the same is hereby accepted.
Section 2. That Ordinance 1588-2004, passed September 20, 2004, which authorized the acceptance of that plat titled GREAT OAK SECTION 1 from DOMINION HOMES, INC be and hereby is repealed.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after the earliest period allowed by law.
