Background:  From time to time the City of Columbus is asked to formally accept various deeds for the purposes of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto.  These deeds have already been granted to the City of Columbus and recorded with the proper county recorder's office.  The following legislation provides for the City to formally accept such deeds as listed in the body of this legislation.

Title
 
To formally accept those deeds for real property from various grantees, which have already been granted to the City of Columbus and recorded with the proper county recorder's office, to be used for the purposes of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto.
 
Body
 
WHEREAS,      from time to time the City is asked to accept deeds various grantees for certain real property to be used for the purpose of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto; and;
 
WHEREAS,      by virtue of a DEED of EASEMENT recorded in the Franklin County, Ohio Recorder's Office as instrument 200409010204976, Hilliard United Pentecostal Church, has deeded property to the City of Columbus, to be used for the purpose of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto; and
 
WHEREAS,      by virtue of a DEED of EASEMENT recorded in the Franklin County, Ohio Recorder's Office as instrument 200408230196693, Roxanne & Associates Investment Company, LLC, has deeded property to the City of Columbus, to be used for the purpose of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto; and
 
WHEREAS,      by virtue of a DEED of EASEMENT recorded in the Franklin County, Ohio Recorder's Office as instrument 200408270201659, 4930 Reed Rd., LLC, has deeded property to the City of Columbus, to be used for the purpose of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto; and
 
WHEREAS,      by virtue of a DEED of EASEMENT recorded in the Franklin County, Ohio Recorder's Office as instrument 200503220052837, Briggsdale Apartments, LLC, has deeded property to the City of Columbus, to be used for the purpose of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto; and
 
WHEREAS,      by virtue of a DEED of EASEMENT recorded in the Franklin County, Ohio Recorder's Office as instrument 200309030278634, Henrietta L. Pfeifer, has deeded property to the City of Columbus, to be used for the purpose of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto; and
 
WHEREAS,      by virtue of a DEED of EASEMENT recorded in the Franklin County, Ohio Recorder's Office as instrument 200309030278629, Tiger Construction, Inc., has deeded property to the City of Columbus, to be used for the purpose of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto; and
 
WHEREAS,      by virtue of a DEED of EASEMENT recorded in the Franklin County, Ohio Recorder's Office as instrument 200503040039926, Albany Station, LLC, has deeded property to the City of Columbus, to be used for the purpose of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto; and
 
WHEREAS,      by virtue of a DEED of EASEMENT recorded in the Franklin County, Ohio Recorder's Office as instrument 200503180050498, Dominion Homes, Inc., has deeded property to the City of Columbus, to be used for the purpose of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto; and
 
WHEREAS,      by virtue of a DEED of EASEMENT recorded in the Franklin County, Ohio Recorder's Office as instrument 200503140045494, Dominion Homes, Inc., has deeded property to the City of Columbus, to be used for the purpose of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto; and
 
WHEREAS,      by virtue of a DEED of EASEMENT recorded in the Franklin County, Ohio Recorder's Office as instrument 200506130113461, Portrait Homes-Townes at West Albany LLC, has deeded property to the City of Columbus, to be used for the purpose of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto; and
 
WHEREAS,      by virtue of a DEED of EASEMENT recorded in the Franklin County, Ohio Recorder's Office as instrument 200507010128852, M/I Homes of Central Ohio, LLC, has deeded property to the City of Columbus, to be used for the purpose of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto; and
 
WHEREAS,      the City desires to accept these deeds; now, therefore
 
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS:
 
      Section 1.      That the City of Columbus hereby accepts that property recorded in the Franklin County, Ohio Recorder's Office as instrument 200409010204976, from Hilliard United Pentecostal Church, as executed and subscribed by Rev. Eric D. Smith, Pastor, for real property to be used for purposes of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto:
 
Section 2.      That the City of Columbus hereby accepts that property recorded in the Franklin County, Ohio Recorder's Office as instrument 200408230196693, from Roxanne & Associates Investment Company, LLC, as executed and subscribed by David L. Ranney, Manager, for real property to be used for purposes of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto:
 
Section 3.      That the City of Columbus hereby accepts that property recorded in the Franklin County, Ohio Recorder's Office as instrument 200408270201659, from 4930 Reed Rd., LLC, as executed and subscribed by W. Vincent Rakestraw, Manager, for real property to be used for purposes of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto:
Section 4.      That the City of Columbus hereby accepts that property recorded in the Franklin County, Ohio Recorder's Office as instrument 200503220052837 from Briggsdale Apartments, LLC, as executed and subscribed by Susan E. Weaver, President, for real property to be used for purposes of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto:
 
Section 5.      That the City of Columbus hereby accepts that recorded in the Franklin County, Ohio Recorder's Office as instrument 200309030278634, from Henrietta L. Pfeifer, as executed and subscribed by Henrietta L. Pfeifer and Herbert Pfeifer, for real property to be used for purposes of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto:
 
Section 6.      That the City of Columbus hereby accepts that recorded in the Franklin County, Ohio Recorder's Office as instrument 200309030278629, from Tiger Construction, Inc., as executed and subscribed by Damon Pfeifer, President, for real property to be used for purposes of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto:
 
Section 7.      That the City of Columbus hereby accepts that property recorded in the Franklin County, Ohio Recorder's Office as instrument 200503040039926, from Albany Station, LLC, as executed and subscribed by Nicholas J. Montell, Managing Member, for real property to be used for purposes of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto:
 
Section 8.      That the City of Columbus hereby accepts that property recorded in the Franklin County, Ohio Recorder's Office as instrument 200503180050498, from Dominion Homes, Inc., as executed and subscribed by Robert A. Meyer, Jr., Senior Vice President, for real property to be used for purposes of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto:
 
Section 9.      That the City of Columbus hereby accepts that property recorded in the Franklin County, Ohio Recorder's Office as instrument 200503140045494, from Dominion Homes, Inc., as executed and subscribed by Robert A. Section 11.      That the City of Columbus hereby accepts that property recorded in the Franklin County, Ohio Recorder's Office as instrument 200507010128852, from M/I Homes of Central Ohio, LLC, as executed and subscribed by J. Thomas Mason, Senior Vice President, for real property to be used for purposes of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto:
 
Section 12.      That this ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after the earliest period allowed by law.
