Title: To formally accept certain deeds of easment and other interests in and to real property from various grantees to be used for the purposes of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto.
Explanation
 
Background:  From time to time the City of Columbus is asked to formally accept various deeds for the purposes of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto.  These deeds have already been granted to the City of Columbus and recorded with the proper county recorder's office.  The following legislation provides for the City to formally accept such deeds as listed in the body of this legislation.

Title
 
To formally accept certain deeds of easment and other interests in and to real property from various grantees to be used for the purposes of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto.
 
 
Body
 
WHEREAS,      from time to time the City is asked to accept deeds various grantees for certain real property to be used for the purpose of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto; and;
 
WHEREAS,      by virtue of a DEED of EASEMENT recorded in the Franklin County, Ohio Recorder's Office on 06/19/06, as instrument 200606190118178, Columbus Regional Airport Authority, has deeded property to the City of Columbus, to be used for the purpose of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto; and
 
WHEREAS,      by virtue of a DEED of EASEMENT recorded in the Franklin County, Ohio Recorder's Office on 06/30/06 as instrument 200606300128693, M.H. Murphy Development Company, has deeded property to the City of Columbus, to be used for the purpose of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto; and
 
WHEREAS,      by virtue of a DEED of EASEMENT recorded in the Franklin County, Ohio Recorder's Office on 06/19/06 as instrument 200606190118176, West Leppert Investment, LLC, has deeded property to the City of Columbus, to be used for the purpose of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto; and
 
WHEREAS,      by virtue of a DEED of EASEMENT recorded in the Franklin County, Ohio Recorder's Office on 06/02/06 as instrument 200606020107232, The New Albany Company LLC, has deeded property to the City of Columbus, to be used for the purpose of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto; and
 
WHEREAS,      by virtue of a DEED of EASEMENT recorded in the Franklin County, Ohio Recorder's Office on 05/26/06 as instrument 200605260102885, Germain Real Estate Company, LLC, has deeded property to the City of Columbus, to be used for the purpose of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto; and
 
WHEREAS,      by virtue of a DEED of EASEMENT recorded in the Franklin County, Ohio Recorder's Office on 04/17/06 as instrument 200604170071217, Tanglewood Park LLC, Roth Family Ltd. and Luckoff Land Company, LLC, has deeded property to the City of Columbus, to be used for the purpose of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto; and
 
WHEREAS,      by virtue of a DEED of EASEMENT recorded in the Franklin County, Ohio Recorder's Office on 05/05/06 as instrument 200605050086598, Board of Education of the Columbus City School District, has deeded property to the City of Columbus, to be used for the purpose of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto; and
 
WHEREAS,      by virtue of a DEED of EASEMENT recorded in the Franklin County, Ohio Recorder's Office on 11/03/06 as instrument 200611030221596, Tanglewood Park LLC, Roth Family Ltd, and Luckoff Land Company, LLC, has deeded property to the City of Columbus, to be used for the purpose of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto; and
 
WHEREAS,      by virtue of a DEED of EASEMENT recorded in the Franklin County, Ohio Recorder's Office on 11/13/06 as instrument 200611130226621, Henrietta L. Pfeiffer, has deeded property to the City of Columbus, to be used for the purpose of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto; and
 
WHEREAS,      by virtue of a DEED of EASEMENT recorded in the Franklin County, Ohio Recorder's Office on 11/03/06 as instrument 200611030221589, Portrait Homes-Bedford Place, LLC, has deeded property to the City of Columbus, to be used for the purpose of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto; and
 
WHEREAS,      by virtue of a DEED of EASEMENT recorded in the Franklin County, Ohio Recorder's Office on 11/17/06 as instrument 200611170230962, Echo Haydens Crossing Associates, LLC, has deeded property to the City of Columbus, to be used for the purpose of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto; and
 
WHEREAS      the City desires to accept these deeds; now, therefore
 
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS:
 
      Section 1.      That the City of Columbus hereby accepts the property more fully described in the DEED of EASEMENT from Columbus Regional Airport Authority, for real property to be used for purposes of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto:
 
Section 2.      That the City of Columbus hereby accepts the property more fully described in the DEED of EASEMENT from M.H. Murphy Development Company, for real property to be used for purposes of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto:
 
Section 3.      That the City of Columbus hereby accepts the property more fully described in the DEED of EASEMENT from West Leppert Investment, LLC, for real property to be used for purposes of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto:
 
Section 4.      That the City of Columbus hereby accepts the property more fully described in the DEED of EASEMENT from The New Albany Company LLC, for real property to be used for purposes of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto:
 
Section 5.      That the City of Columbus hereby accepts the property more fully described in the DEED of EASEMENT from Germain Real Estate Company, LLC, for real property to be used for purposes of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto:
 
Section 6.      That the City of Columbus hereby accepts the property more fully described in the DEED of EASEMENT from Tanglewood Park LLC, Roth Family Ltd. and Luckoff Land Company, LLC, for real property to be used for purposes of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto:
 
Section 7.      That the City of Columbus hereby accepts the property more fully described in the DEED of EASEMENT from Board of Education of the Columbus City School District, for real property to be used for purposes of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto:
 
Section 8.      That the City of Columbus hereby accepts the property more fully described in the DEED of EASEMENT from Tanglewood Park LLC, Roth Family Ltd, and Luckoff Land Company, LLC, for real property to be used for purposes of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto:
 
Section 9.      That the City of Columbus hereby accepts the property more fully described in the DEED of EASEMENT from Henrietta L. Pfeiffer, for real property to be used for purposes of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto:
 
Section 10.      That the City of Columbus hereby accepts the property more fully described in the DEED of EASEMENT from Portrait Homes-Bedford Place, LLC, for real property to be used for purposes of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto:
 
Section 11.      That the City of Columbus hereby accepts the property more fully described in the DEED of EASEMENT from Echo Haydens Crossing Associates, LLC, for real property to be used for purposes of improving storm and sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto:
 
Section 12.      That this ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after the earliest period allowed by law.
