To honor and celebrate October 18th, 2023 as the 5th year anniversary of the National Veterans Memorial and Museum

Body

WHEREAS, the National Veterans Memorial and Museum provides several resources and programs that aids community participants and especially Veterans, and their families to live healthy, successful lives after military service; and

WHEREAS, the National Veterans Memorial and Museum mission is to honor and positively impact the lives of Veterans, their families and our communities through sharing the Veteran experience; ​and

WHEREAS, Columbus, Ohio is strengthened by the over 60,000 military veterans who make this city our home, they contribute to the rich economy, culture, and life in the city; and

WHEREAS, this Council honors dedication of the NVMM to the families, caregivers, and survivors of our veterans and our current service members; and

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS: That this Council does declare October 18th, 2023 as the fifth anniversary of the National Veterans Memorial and Museum.
