Explanation

DOMINION HOMES, INC., an Ohio corporation, by JOSEPH A. SUGAR III, Vice President - Land Acquisition, M/I HOMES OF CENTRAL OHIO, LLC, an Ohio limited liability company, by STEPHEN M. CAPLINGER, Vice President Land Operations, has submitted the plat titled THE LAKES OF WORTHINGTON SECTION 4 to the City Engineer's Office for review and approval. This plat has been reviewed and approved by the City Engineer. The following legislation allows the City to accept said plat for property located south of Hard Road and west of Linworth Road.

SUGAR III, Vice President - Land Acquisition M/I HOMES OF CENTRAL OHIO, LLC, an Ohio limited liability company, by STEPHEN M. CAPLINGER, Vice President Land Operations and to declare an emergency.


Body:


WHEREAS, the plat titled THE LAKES OF WORTHINGTON SECTION 4 (hereinafter "plat"), has been submitted to the City Engineer's Office for approval and acceptance; and

WHEREAS, DOMINION HOMES, INC., an Ohio corporation, by JOSEPH A. SUGAR III, Vice President - Land Acquisition, M/I HOMES OF CENTRAL OHIO, LLC, an ohio limited liability company, by STEPHEN M. CAPLINGER, Vice President Land Operations, owner of the platted land, desires to subdivide all of the lands shown on said plat; and

WHEREAS, after examination, it has been found to be in the best interest of the City to accept said plat; and now, therefore

WHEREAS, an emergency exists in the usual daily operation of the Department of Public Service and Transportation in that it is immediately necessary to pass this ordinance as an emergency measure because of the need to expedite the sale of the lots and allow for the submittal of building permits for new home construction during construction of the infrastructure; for the preservation of the public health, peace, property, safety, and welfare; now therefore
