Explanation
Ordinance No. 1150-2007 was passed by City Council on July 23, 2007. The ordinance proposes several amendments to Ordinance No. 1150-2007 as follows:
- The number of hours of Paid Time Off will be determined based on the number of weekly scheduled hours for eligible part-time employees.
- Overtime will be more in line with the CMAGE/CWA provisions, effective July 29, 2007.
- An option to split Sick Leave Reciprocity on a 50/50 basis will be added in 2008.
- Allow the cost of immunizations to apply to an employee's annual out-of-pocket maximum, effective January 1, 2008.
- A Time Donation Program, similar to AFSCME and CMAGE/CWA, will be effective January 1, 2008.
There is no significant fiscal impact.
Title
To amend Ordinance No. 1150-2007, the Management Compensation Plan, by amending Sections 7, 8, 14, 16, 17, 18, 19, and 20; and to declare an emergency.

WHEREAS, an emergency exists in the usual daily operation of the City in that it is immediately necessary to amend certain provisions of the Management Compensation Plan, thereby preserving the public peace, property, health, safety, and welfare; Now, Therefore
