Explanation
BACKGROUND:
This legislation authorizes the Director of the Department of Development to enter into a contract with Community Research Partners (CRP). The contract will allow CRP to assist the City with the development of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)-required Consolidated Plan for the five-year period 2005-2009. CRP will assist the Development Department with the identification of priorities of housing and non-housing needs, coordination strategies, development of five-year goals, strategies, objectives and performance measures and prepare the final document for public review and submission to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The amount of the contract will be $70,000.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funding for this contract is allocated from the 2003 Community Development Block Grant Fund.
