To Recognize Mallory Donaldson and Congratulate her on her Appointment to the YWCA National Board
Body
WHEREAS, Mallory Donaldson has served the Columbus community for more than 15 years in various roles, exemplifying the values of servant leadership and paying it forward; and
WHEREAS, Mallory currently serves as the Chief Program Officer of Advocacy, Public Policy, and Information at The Center for Healthy Families, where she helps advocate for young women, Black girls, and mothers; and
WHEREAS, Mallory has held numerous other leadership roles across the City of Columbus, including board member and development committee chair for YWCA Columbus, Resource Development Committee member for Celebrate One, and Executive Director of Operations for the Archie and Bonita Griffin Scholarship fund; and
WHEREAS, Mallory has been recognized for her skill as a fundraiser and philanthropist, helping raise more than $3 million for various non-profits and civic foundations; and
WHEREAS, the YWCA recently appointed Mallory to their National Board, where she will help advance the organization’s mission and represent the best of Columbus; and
WHEREAS, the City of Columbus is proud of all Mallory has achieved and looks forward to continuing to partner with her as he continues her advocacy in a new role; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS: That this Council recognizes Mallory Donaldson and congratulates her on her appointment to the YWCA National Board.
