To recognize and congratulate Dr. Mary W. Claytor, Founding At-Large Member of the Alpha Sigma Omega Education Foundation, Inc.

Body

WHEREAS, the Alpha Sigma Omega Education Foundation, Inc was founded on March 18, 2002; and

WHEREAS, the Foundation will accomplish its express purpose of encouraging and assisting individuals in achieving educational excellence by awarding scholarships and/or grants to deserving individuals for furtherance of their education beyond high school; and

WHEREAS, the sisters of Alpha Sigma Omega have created this Foundation in an effort to build upon their long and distinguished reputation for promoting educational excellence and recognizing the achievements of our young people as is illustrated during their annual Scholar's Tea event; now, therefore

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS:

That this Council does hereby recognize Dr. Mary W. Claytor, Founding At-Large Member of the Alpha Sigma Omega Education Foundation, Inc on this 31^st day of January 2004.
