Explanation

Atelier District, LLC is rehabilitating an existing office building located at 240 North Fifth Street and has recently submitted a request asking that the City grant them an encroachment easement into Fifth Street to allow for demolition of a very small existing stoop and for installation of a new accessible stoop incorporating both a ramp and stair. Per current Transportation Division practice, comments were solicited from interested parties, including City departments before it was determined that there would be no adverse impact to the City upon the granting of an encroachment easement for construction of an accessible stoop. A $500.00 value was established for the granting of this easement.

The City will receive a total of $500.00, to be deposited in Fund 748, Project 537650, as consideration for the granting of the requested encroachment easement.
