Explanation
BACKGROUND
This ordinance authorizes the assignment of all past, present, and future business done by the City of Columbus with Winmill Software, Inc., to Virelli, LLC due to the acquisition of the PPM Division of Winmill. This change will reflect a company name change for all contracts and purchase orders established with Winmill Software, Inc. authorized in Ordinance 2706-2025. The original contract was for one year from the date of a confirmed purchase order, with four optional one-year renewals with the approval of City Council. Any future optional renewals will be executed under Virelli, LLC.
CONTRACT COMPLIANCE INFORMATION
Winmill Software, Inc., had a contract compliance number of 053816 which expires 10/9/2027. Virelli, LLC, 2 W Washington Street, Suite 200, Greenville, SC 29601, has a contract compliance number of CC056060 which expires 8/31/2028.
FISCAL IMPACT
There is no expenditure associated with this ordinance.
EMERGENCY DESIGNATION
Emergency action is requested as there is an active contract that provides project management solutions to the Department of Safety. Since the vendor name changed, the department cannot provide payment for those services until legislation is passed and a new PO created with the new vendor name. Failure to make prompt payments will result interrupted receipt of services.

To authorize the Director of the Department of Technology to modify all contracts between the Department of Technology and Winmill Software, Inc., to allow for the assignment of all such contracts from Winmill Software, Inc., to Virelli, LLC; and to declare an emergency. ($0.00)
