To honor and recognize the Adams Family as they celebrate their 90^th Family Reunion on September 4-5, 2010 in Urbana, Ohio.

Body

WHEREAS, historically, ancestors of the Adams Family migrated and settled in Urbana, Ohio

WHEREAS, the first Adams Family reunion was held in 1920 in Champaign County, Ohio; and

WHEREAS, the reunion is held for family members to become acquainted and learn about the Adams Family history; and

WHEREAS, the last Adams Family reunion held at the Champaign County Fairgrounds was in 1969; and   

WHEREAS, this year's theme for the Adams Family reunion is "Back To Our Grassroots", recognizing the family's ancestral spirits; and

WHEREAS, the Adams Family has chosen the Champaign County Fairgrounds in Urbana, Ohio for the celebration of their 90^th Family Reunion; now, therefore

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS:

That this Council does hereby honor and recognize the Adams Family's 90^th Family Reunion held on September 4-5, 2010 in Urbana, Ohio.
