Celebrating the 10th Anniversary of Prince of Peace Ghanaian Seventh-Day Adventist Church

WHEREAS, the Prince of Peace Ghanaian Seventh-day Adventist Church, located in Columbus, Ohio, is celebrating its 10th Anniversary, marking a decade of spiritual leadership, community service, and cultural enrichment; and

 

WHEREAS, since its founding, Prince of Peace Ghanaian SDA Church has served as a vital institution for the Ghanaian community and the wider Columbus area, providing faith-based support, educational programs, youth engagement, and outreach initiatives that strengthen families and neighborhoods; and

 

WHEREAS, the church’s 10-year milestone reflects the dedication of its leadership, membership, and supporters who have worked tirelessly to create a welcoming environment that celebrates diversity, unity, and shared values; and

 

WHEREAS, the City of Columbus recognizes and values the cultural, social, and spiritual contributions of immigrant communities, including the Ghanaian population, whose presence enriches the city's fabric and strengthens its commitment to inclusion and belonging; and

 

WHEREAS, the Prince of Peace Ghanaian SDA Church continues to be a beacon of faith and community engagement, fostering a space where individuals and families can grow, connect, and thrive; now, therefore

 

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS: That this Council does hereby celebrate and honor the 10th Anniversary of Prince of Peace Ghanaian Seventh-day Adventist Church, and extends its warmest congratulations to the church leadership, congregation, and the broader Ghanaian community for this remarkable accomplishment
