Explanation
Background: This ordinance shall make a minor technical correction to Ordinance No. 980-2007 by rescheduling the date and time of the hearing on the Petition to create the Hayden Run Community Development Authority. Furthermore, the original action taken by Council in approving the form of the petition shall be ratified by this legislation.

Title
To ratify the original action taken by Council in Ordinance No. 0980-2007 approving the petition to create the Hayden Run Community Development Authority; and to reschedule the hearing on the Petition for the establishment of the Hayden Run New Community Development Authority.
Body
WHEREAS, the original action taken by Council in approving the form of the Petition was proper; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to reschedule the hearing date for the Petition in order to comply with the conditions set forth in Chapter 349 of the Ohio Revised Code and for the preservation of the public health, peace, property, safety and welfare; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS, OHIO:
Section 1. That the action taken by City Council in Ordinance No. 0980-2007 is hereby ratified.
Section 2. That a hearing on the Petition to create the Hayden Run Community Development Authority shall be rescheduled for September 10, 2007 at 5pm in City Council Chambers.
Section 3. That the City Clerk shall inform the Clerk of the Franklin County Board of Commissioners of the time and place of such hearing and shall arrange for notice thereof by publication once each week for three consecutive weeks in a newspaper of general circulation in Franklin County pursuant to Section 349.03(A) of the Ohio Revised Code.
Section 4. That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after the earliest period allowed by law.
