Explanation

BACKGROUND: The Board of Health has been awarded $4,126,652.00 in grant funds from the Ohio Department of Health to fund the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Program for the period October 1, 2005 through September 30, 2006. The Ohio Department of Health has provided $124,841 for the lease of real property to be used as clinic space for the WIC Program. The WIC and Immunization Programs share clinic space at 1120 Morse Road.

WHEREAS, The Ohio Department of Health has designated the Health Department as primary grantee agency and fund administrator for all WIC programs in Franklin County; and,

WHEREAS, the WIC Program will lease space from various property owners for their clinic sites for the continuation of Women, Infants and Children services; Now, therefore:
