Title
To recognize Mother Bobbie Gentry as Illustrious Commandress for 2007, Alla Baba Court #75.
Body
WHEREAS, Mother Bobbie Gentry has been an active citizen in the City of Columbus by promoting positive relationships through her activities with various Masonic organizations; and
WHEREAS, within the Eastern Star, Mother Gentry has held the positions of Past Matron four times and Past Associate Matron six times. Currently, she is the Past Most Ancient Matron in the Heroines of Jericho. Mother Gentry has also served as Grand Chairperson and Grand Committee Member in both orders; and
WHEREAS, Mother Gentry has been united with the Oakley Baptist Church as a member for nearly forty years, serving as chairperson on numerous committees and a faithful member of the music ministry; and
WHEREAS, Mother Bobbie Gentry's tireless service to the City of Columbus is exemplified in her motto: "If I can help somebody, then my living will not be in vain", now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS:
That Mother Bobbie L. Gentry be honored and congratulated for serving as Illustrious Commandress for 2007, Alla Baba Court #75.
