To commemorate the 10th Anniversary of the New Americans Magazine

WHEREAS, The New Americans Magazine is celebrating a decade of uplifting immigrant and refugee communities in Central Ohio; and

WHEREAS, New Americans promotes stories which highlight the achievements, contributions, and impact of immigrants who have made Ohio their home; and

WHEREAS, New Americans has become a trusted platform for first-generation professionals from numerous industries to express their thoughts and share their experiences; and

WHEREAS, New Americans built a network of over thirty-thousand registered subscribers; and

WHEREAS, New Americans’ impact goes beyond media and stretches into the community through civic forums, book fairs, and advocacy; now, therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS: That this council hereby commemorates the 10th anniversary of the New Americans Magazine
