To thank Angela Mingo for six years of service to Columbus City Council, and to wish her well as she begins a new career with Nationwide Children's Hospital.

WHEREAS, Angela Mingo has served as Council's Community Affairs Director for the past six years; and
WHEREAS, Angela has put to good use her masters degree in City and Regional Planning to help Council successfully navigate the sometimes difficult waters of community relations in difficult issues that require tact and diplomacy; and
WHEREAS, in that capacity she has consistently put a human face on City government for hundreds of citizens and community groups, and in the process left them feeling good about their community and the ability to access and interact with local government officials; and
WHEREAS, Angela has been instrumental in making the City's annual Earned Income Tax program a success for hundreds of needy, local families, thereby improving the quality of life for themselves and their children; and
WHEREAS, Angela will continue to serve her fellow citizens in her future endeavor with one of the most important institutions in the Columbus community, performing a job that we know she will accomplish with the same dedicated, professional, and kind manner that we have come to appreciate here with the City; now, therefore,
