Explanation
Ordinance number 1851-2011 authorized the Board of Health to enter into a contract with Access 2 Interpreters, LLC in the amount of $25,740.00 for the provision of live interpretation and translation services for persons with limited English proficiency who receive services at Women, Infants and Children (WIC) clinics for the period of October 1, 2011 through September 30, 2012. This ordinance is needed to increase contract EL012268 in the amount of $455.00 for the total contract amount not to exceed $26,195.00 with Access 2 Interpreters, LLC.
This modification is needed to meet demand for live interpretation and translation service which has been higher than anticipated. Access 2 Interpreters, LLC Federal ID number is 760803722.
Contract EL012268 was awarded in compliance with Section 329.11 of the Columbus City Code. This modification is in compliance with Section 329.16 of the Columbus City Code.
FISCAL IMPACT: The funds needed to modify and increase this contract are budgeted in Women, Infants and Children Grant. Health Department Grants Fund 251, Health Department, Division 50-01, OCA 501150.

WHEREAS, $455.00 in additional funds are needed to provide live interpretation and translation services for WIC clinics; and,
