Center - 240 W. Oakland, 43201, and other such work as may be necessary to complete the contract in accordance with the plans and specifications.

WHEREAS, bids were received by the Recreation and Parks Department on April 28, 2009, and the contract for the roof replacements at various facilities-Phase 2 was awarded on the basis of the lowest and best responsive and responsible bidder; and
WHEREAS, an emergency exists in the usual daily operation of the Recreation and Parks Department in that it is immediately necessary to enter into contract so the project can begin immediately to prevent any further damage to the structure and better secure participant's safety for the immediate preservation of the public health, peace, property and safety; now, therefore
