To Congratulate Pastor Frederick V. Lamarr on his Nineteenth Pastoral Anniversary

WHEREAS, Frederick V. Lamarr graduated, with honors, from East High School in Columbus, Ohio before earning degrees from Bakersfield Trade School, Eastern Union Bible College, Moody Bible Institute and Master’s Graduate School of Divinity; and
WHEREAS, Frederick V. Lamarr was ordained as a deacon in 1985, licensed as a Gospel Preacher in 1987, ordained as an Elder of the Church in 1994 and certified as a Biblical Counselor of the International Association of Biblical Counselors in 2005; and
WHEREAS, Frederick V. Lamarr has served as the Pastor of Family Missionary Baptist Church in Columbus, Ohio since 1997; and
WHEREAS, Frederick V. Lamarr will be celebrating this momentous occasion on Sunday, February 28th alongside his wife and First Lady of Family Missionary Baptist Church, Michelle Lynn Lamarr, his daughter Micahya Danyelle Lamarr, friends and congregration; and
WHEREAS, Frederick V. Lamarr has had a tremendous impact on the Columbus community through his active presence, accepting many of the challenges the community faces. He, along with his congregation, has working to bring Columbus’ pressing issues and critical needs to attention, provided spiritual guidance to youth and worked in our neighborhoods for the development of strong families; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS: That this Council does hereby congratulate Pastor Frederick V. Lamarr on his nineteenth pastoral anniversary and his contribution and commitment to making Columbus the best place to live, work and raise a family.
