Explanation
BACKGROUND
This ordinance authorizes the Administrative and Presiding Judge of the Franklin County Municipal Court to enter into a contract with Moss Audio Corporation for Genetec Servers and Installation.

This contract intends to provide the Franklin County Municipal Court with new security equipment to replace the failing directory and archivers to preserve the integrity of the security system.
The Court solicited Requests for Proposals for the new equipment and installation via RFQ029488. Two responses were received. The responding firms were:

Moss Audio Corporation was the lowest bidder and is contract-compliant.

Emergency Legislation is requested so the equipment can be replaced before it completely fails and compromises the integrity of the security system.
FISCAL IMPACT: The amount of $67,277.45 is budgeted and available in the Franklin County Municipal Court's 2025 security fund and General Perm Imp Non-Bond Capital Outlay. A funds transfer is necessary to align spending with the appropriate capital main account.
