Explanation
BACKGROUND:
Need: This legislation is to authorize and direct the City Auditor to appropriate and transfer $126,104.26 between various projects within the Division of Fire's Safety Voted Bond Fund, Fund 701. These transfers are necessary to continue current capital projects.

Emergency Designation: Emergency action is requested as funds are needed immediately.

FISCAL IMPACT:
Budgeted Amount: Unencumbered cash is available within the Division's current 2002 Capital Improvement Budget for these transfers.

Body
WHEREAS, there is a need to provide funding for pending capital projects; and

WHEREAS, the appropriation and transfer of funds are necessary to continue current projects; and

WHEREAS, an emergency exists in the usual daily operation of the Department of Public Safety, in that it is immediately necessary to transfer said funds, for the immediate preservation of the public health, peace, property, safety and welfare; now, therefore,

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS

Section 1. That the appropriation and transfer of funds be and is hereby authorized and directed as follows:
