WHEREAS, Regina retired from the City of Columbus, Department of Human Resources on March 30, 2007; and
WHEREAS, Regina was a Training Manager in the Department of Human Resources and was very instrumental in establishing the City's first Computer Training Lab as well as establishing the first AED/CPR course instruction for the Department of Public Health's healthcare providers; and
WHEREAS, Regina as been actively involved in the Down Syndrome Society and the Special Olympics; and
WHEREAS, Regina will enjoy a blissful life after retirement by traveling, golfing and sharing time with family and friends; and
WHEREAS, Regina has had a long and distinguished career in public service that will serve as an example for others, her dedication and diligence will be sorely missed; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS:
That this City Council expresses its profound appreciation to Regina Britt for her service to the City of Columbus.
