Explanation
This legislation authorizes the Director of Finance and Management to establish a blanket purchase order for the Division of Sewerage and Drainage to obtain Schwing Pump Replacement Parts from an established Universal Term Contract.
This contract is utilized for the purchase of Schwing Pump Parts for the two (2) wastewater treatment plants. The plants have exceeded allowable amounts off the UTC without legislation. Parts are purchased for routine and preventive maintenance on the various Schwing Pumps within the Jackson Pike Wastewater Treatment Plant.
The Purchasing Office has established a Universal Term Contract for the option to obtain Schwing Pump Replacement Parts. Items required will be obtained in accordance with this contract. The contract expires December 31, 2008 (FL002982)

WHEREAS, the Purchasing Office has established a Universal Term Contract (FL002982) for the option to obtain the Schwing Pump Replacement Parts, with Columbus that expires December 31, 2008 and,
WHEREAS, the Jackson Pike Wastewater Treatment Plant has a need for parts for routine and preventive maintenance, and
WHEREAS, a blanket purchase order will be established in accordance with the Universal Term Contract on file with the Purchasing Office, now therefore
