Explanation
1. BACKGROUND:
This legislation authorizes the Director of Public Utilities to reimburse the Franklin County Engineer for sanitary sewer improvements in connection with their Morse Road, Cleveland Ave. to Trindel Way Project. The Franklin County Engineer agreed to incorporate the extension of sanitary sewer lines to properties located within the City of Columbus that were using on-site sanitary sewer systems. The installation of this infrastructure allows the abandonment of these on-site systems as has been requested by the Ohio E.P.A.
2. FISCAL IMPACT:
The project accounts from which funds are being transferred from within this ordinance are residual funds from projects that will be funded through and OWDA Loan. The Division is requesting an amendment to the 2004 Capital Improvements Budget within Ord. No. 1293-2004, in order to adjust the funding authority for this project.
